Description Andy 2020-10-26 18:37:06 UTC
Description:
1) When I attempted to install Spellchecker, I kept getting a message that the file path didn't exist. So I drilled down and found the final folder in the path was mislabeled during the install:

Users/User/AppData/Roaming/..../uno_packages/lu22286a1ccm.tmp The later is the correct folder. I had to manually replace the incorrect name with this one in order for the installation to be successful.

Once I'd made this correction, the Spellchecker installed.

2) Now every time I reboot, I have to re-install the Spellchecker through Tools/Extension Manager. LO drops Spellchecker whenever I log out.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install LO
2.Run Tools/Extension Manager to install Spellchecker
3.Select Spellcheck package
4.Receive message stating the path can't be found.

Actual Results:
Spellchecker failed to install.

Expected Results:
Spellchecker installs and can be used with LO suite.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Once installed, I must reinstall Spellchecker every time I log on. LO only saves the installation for individual sessions.

What if you remove the cache directory seen in your screenshot?
You can also remove the whole profile directory to see, if regenerating it would solve things: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
