It's hidden direct formatting.. remove all direct formatting and it will work

The C is formatted with a specific Direct Character formatting. However no clue how this exactly happened.. I think Selecting C.. Changing font size to say 16, and revert it back to 12. So more or less what's debated in bug 135871 Except in this case not about highlighting or bold, but font size
