Example file from Excel with external links to CSV, XLSX

Attached Excel-made file contains external data connections to a CSV an an XLSX file.
When opened in Calc the Edit – Link to External Files menu item is greyed out, meaning the data connections are not imported at all.

Expected results:
Edit – Link to External Files menu item is working, data connections are editable.

I used the path c:\TEMP for these linked files when I set the connections up in Excel.

Example file saved as XLS

Saving to XLS does not work either, Excel does not see external connections in this one either.
