Can not confirm. For Windows builds, edit focus onto cell a cell with content <Del> key has different function than <BkSpace> key. <Del> will clear the content. <BkSpace> opens the 'Delete Contents' dialog For OP please post os/DE details and copy the Help -> About LibreOffice dialog. Also, if you want the old OpenOffice.org era behavior (still used by Apache OpenOffice) we provide the Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Calc -> Compatibility tab where the is a 'Key Bindings' list box. Select the "OpenOffice.org legacy" entry.
