Description:
Lagging issues when dealing with gifs. Everything goes unresponsive while adding a gif, moving it or doing anything with it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a gif to any new slide.
2. Try to play it or move the gif.
3. The whole presentation would go unresponsive.

Actual Results:
High lagging performance while using gifs

Expected Results:
Worked perfectly with gifs


Reproducible: Always

Rule of thumb is search before reporting. 
There are at least two similar reports, I guess this is a duplicate. 
Another mistake is a lack of sample document. 
If someone thinks "you can easily create" just figure thousands of bugs in very different situations, dealt by few people, no time for that.
