Description MarjaE 2020-11-12 20:37:27 UTC
As of LOO 6.4.6.2, the Sidebar opens on the right side, with no options to move it to the left side. And the Comments display on the right side, with no options to move them to the left side.

If I use both the Navigator and Comments, then my text gets pushed well to the left, and my zoom can't be as aggressive as before. Both of these can reduce visibility, depending on the monitor, glare, etc. possibly privacy screens, too.

If I could set the Sidebar to the left, or Comments to the left, then I could put them on opposite sides and keep the text more-or-less centered.

It's not a problem for me to drag and drop sidebar from the right to the left with

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)
Build ID: 10b23330a9655658e6d7ef1d008a3302a15e9629
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

and with

Version: 7.0.3.1 (x64)
Build ID: d7547858d014d4cf69878db179d326fc3483e082
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

So I would say NOTABUG.

I don't know, if this just has been implemented in LO 7.0. Please retest with LO 7.0 and feel free to change bug to UNCONFIRMED if the problem ist still present.
