Description Michal Taborsky 2020-11-15 16:16:59 UTC
In Options - LibreOffice - Security - Macro Security - Trusted Sources when I click the Add button to add a new trusted file location, there is no action, nothing happens. I would expect a dialog to select the location.

Work for me with:
Version: 6.4.7.2 (x64)
Build ID: 639b8ac485750d5696d7590a72ef1b496725cfb5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 20180; UI render: GL; VCL: win;
Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL

With System or LibreOffice dialog.

In General option you can switch the dialog, please test.
Comment 2 Michal Taborsky 2020-11-16 08:41:08 UTC
With LibreOffice dialog it works. With system dialog it doesn't do anything.
Comment 3 Michal Taborsky 2020-11-16 08:45:39 UTC
This is on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H15)
Comment 4 m_a_riosv 2020-11-16 08:52:46 UTC
I had seen it's MacOS, but now we know it's restricted to it with system dialog.

Please wait for someone with Mac to confirm it.
Comment 5 Michal Taborsky 2020-11-17 12:02:43 UTC
In the meantime, I upgraded to Big Sur and the dialog started working, so it looks it's only limited to Catalina.

I can confirm that the dialog box to select the folder is missing in the following versions on macos 10.15.x.

Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 574c57090642347980d2395e1e183cc7b5c171ad
CPU threads: 2; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

and

Version: 7.1.0.0.beta1+
Build ID: d5e786d78d2f72a39f02746d6e0faa04da72c60a
CPU threads: 2; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I can also confirm that the dialog box to select the folder is there in macos 12.6.4.

I'll try earlier branches to see if I can determine where this issue was introduced.

Off topic: I also note that in 12.6.4 the text to select the "Security Level" or "Trusted Sources" are whited out with no text in these two versions on 12.6.4. This is a bug for the 7.0 branch.

I've tested each of the bundles up until mac64-7.3

Each version in mac64-7.0 until mac64-7.2 did not have the dialog box.

Please note that the Preferences:Security:Certificate Path -> Select NSS Path also doesn't show a dialog box.

However in mac64-7.3 the issues are fixed.

So if the user upgrades to any version after 7.3beta, they should be OK.
Version: 7.3.0.0.beta1+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: ce69f71983a09416514f0569c6cdfbcde87d4b99

If you wish, I can bisect to find which change fixed the issue but I'm not sure if that is worth the effort since it appears to be fixed in 7.3b and later. Please let me know.

There are probably better things to spend energy on, closing it. I should have done it earlier. Thank you for the effort.
