You are using a special version of Ubuntu. Could be a special bug. Please try it with a version from LibreOffice.org. I set the component to UI, because this behavior has nothing to do with Base, the database module of LO.

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
