Problem: main menu not visible.

Steps to Reproduce:
Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Close "libreoffice".

Remove directory "~/.config/libreoffice/".
Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Close "libreoffice".

Remove directory "/etc/libreoffice/".
Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Close "libreoffice".

Run command "/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --safe-mode", choose "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Close "libreoffice".

Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Press "Alt-F12" to show dialog "Options"; disable OpenGL ("LibreOffice - View - Use hardware acceleration", uncheck) and disable OpenCL ("LibreOffice - OpenCL - Allow use of OpenCL", uncheck).
Close "libreoffice".

Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu not visible.
Close "libreoffice".

Run commands "apt remove libreoffice-gnome", "apt remove libreoffice-gtk3".
Start "libreoffice calc".
Main menu visible.

Actual Results:
main menu not visible.

Expected Results:
main menu must be visible.


Reproducible: Didn't try


User Profile Reset: Yes



Additional Info:
If use gtk3, menu not visible.
If use x11, menu visible.

You are using a special version of Ubuntu. Could be a special bug.

Please try it with a version from LibreOffice.org.

I set the component to UI, because this behavior has nothing to do with Base, the database module of LO.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Not clear what's the exact reason/configuration the Expected steps would be.
