Additional Info:
Using LibreOffice from openSUSE Factory: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/LibreOffice%3AFactory/libreoffice

I don't see the OpenGL option in the settings, however, I have OpenCL enabled, which may cause issues, but I don't see why it would specifically affect printing. UI Render shows "default" at help>about:

The file I am trying to print

Original file had some information but it is not included because of privacy reasons. The bug can be reproduced with this file anyways.

Another file that can reproduce the issue

Seems to have something to do with pages filled with forms.
Also a weird white line appeared across the screen.
Sensitive information has been hidden out with black lines.
Interestingly, I tried deleting the data I filled in the forms and after saving, reoponening the file showed the information I erased (which is why I had to hide it).

I'll attach the original file giving problems.

The reason is that when you have an object or image selected, it automatically activates the Selection option in the PDF dialog Range options. This was changed in:
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/f50363c7008c239d302944144beb256de6a55f38

Let's ask UX team, if they have ideas on this. Could there be some more noticeable indication that you are only exporting the selection?
Comment 8 Heiko Tietze 2022-05-23 09:22:48 UTC
If you have selected an object the export dialog marks the respective checkbox automatically. It's a desired behavior (in most cases).

We have bug 40163 and co about the full page export when selection is checked. Solving this makes it more clear what's going "wrong".

Any other opinion?

Ahh, bug 40163 is a good point. I think it's enough indeed as there is no 100% guarantee in a case like this.

The original report, about Writer, is now really a duplicate of bug 139164, so marking as such. (139164 is more recent but gathered the duplicates and more discussion.)
