What are Libreoffice devs doing? Spellchecking is a nightmare to configure and it varies between OSs. I use something like firefox and the spellchecking is just one click. I've been googling for 1 hour how to add spell checking to libreoffice and nothing work. I don't understand why the libreoffice people don't take control and make a generic way to add dictionaries on libreoffice. This is a nightmare program designed to frustrate you.

I certainly agree there are some weirdness around the spell checker in general. However does work most of the time.. some steps to reproduce they specific issue would be really helpful
Please add more detail description and steps for repro of your problem. Or just suggest a way for improvement
