Description: I have a spreadsheet set up with a graph using X-axis 1 day date interval, i.e. every day the date value is displayed at the x-axis. I then protect the entire tab and spreadsheet before I save as Excel 2007-365 (.xlsx). When I re-open the file it has lost the manual setting for the X-axis interval and has put it back to AUTOMATIC (=2 day interval). It should always keep the settings I put in but very annoyingly it overrides the saved settings and displays the graph using automatic 2 day intervals which I hate !!!! WHY ??????? Fix this and make sure it doesn't fuck up my spreadsheet every time ! If you don't fix I will have to revert back to Office which I'd rather not do. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create graphs and uncheck Automatic X-Axis interval 2.Use X-axis date format 1 day interval, i.e. it displays each date on x-axis 3. Secure the sheet, password protect and then save as .xlsx 4. re-open the previously saved file and look at the x-axis 5. it will show 2 day interval and have checked Automatic interval again which I had UNchecked before saving Actual Results: Again and again if fails to keep the settings I saved, messing up my graphs every time ! Expected Results: KEEP the graphs settings and interval set to 1 day manually Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: nl Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: yes Version: 7.0.3.1 (x64) Build ID: d7547858d014d4cf69878db179d326fc3483e082 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); GI: nl-NL Calc: threaded
This is likely duplicate of 137917. There has recently been a fix for that. Please try a nightly versions: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html. You can install it parallel to your regularly version.

Created attachment 168267 [details] Sample for testing X-axis graph interval setting The graph scaling in each month (sorry all is in Dutch in the example but you will know what I mean) had an interval set on X-axis to 1 day whereas I de-selected 'automatic' format but after saving in .xlsx and then re-opening it reverts back to 'automatic' and 2 day interval for date format used. Screenshot of settings before saving : https://www.dropbox.com/s/rtwevclv9ljlgt1/Schermafdruk%202020-12-17%2021.54.50.png?dl=0 After saving as Excel .xlsx and re-opening the Main interval has changed to 2 day interval whereas some options have again ticks in the box as "automatic" Please note that the password is blank (empty) although password protect is enabled
As Regina said in comment 1, please test with a newer version. I tested with your file in version 7.2 and the problem did not occur.
