Insert > Table = nothing shown (unless in print preview). The table becomes highlighted as field if focused but content is never shown (with any formatting applied). Nor the boundaries or border lines.

*facepalm* For testing, I toggled some view options among such display > tables. Ridiculous option, badly implemented (placeholder should be always visible), but still my fault.
