Description: Feedback for at least Libre Calc, but can likely be useful in Doc too. (hopefully this form keeps the formatting here, otherwise it looks wired) [] <-- data cells (read the underline as a space, just in case the formatting is ruined). Data example: (currently: right aligned (Ctrl+R), it's harder to read) [____1,0_] [_123,00_] [_____12_] [__1,001_] My proposal is a new alignment that is based on the numbers positional value instead, like this: [___1,0___] [_123,00__] [__12_____] [___1,001_] As you can see, all "ones" numbers, and "tens" & "hundreds" numbers are lined up, so it's easier to read & much harder to misread a numbers value (like misreading 1,001 as 1001 instead). Hope this is explained clearly enough, and it helps to improve Libre Calc. Steps to Reproduce: Not applicable. I guess: Type random values in a column & try to align them. Actual Results: Read the Description here. At row: "Data example:"... Expected Results: Read the Description here. At row: "My proposal"... Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Read the Description.
