Description Leopoldo Saggin 2020-12-28 16:03:23 UTC
Whenever I try to select single or multiple characters in a file and copy & paste it/them by using CTRL-C CTRL-V into the replace box of a "Find & replace...", the program crashes immediately.

To reproduce it:
1. Start to write a Writer document.
2. Select a character or multiple characters of what was written.
3. Open the find & replace dialog. The find box is already filled in with the characters selected
3. Go into the text and select one or more characters to use for replacing the already found characters
4. Use Ctrl-C & CTRL-V to copy and paste into the replace box the text to be used for replacing.
5. As soon as you click CTRL-V, LibreOffice 7.1.0.1 RC1 crashes.

Not observed until version 7.0.4.2

Thanks for the report and testing RC1; a known - rather disturbing - bug. Sorry for inconvenience
