Hi,

after restarting LibO in the safety mode, the problem is still the same.

Adding 3D transitional effect will crash Impress.

No crash for me either.

I recently learned that Ubuntu users can log into a session called Metacity Gnome Flashback and it uses this: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/GnomeFlashback
I wonder what session you are using?

Yeah, I was suspecting the problem was *caused* by GnomeFlashback and I definitely do not recommend using it.
