I have LO version 7.0.4.2 installed on my Fedora 32 X64 bit Cinnamon edition as flatpak package from FlatHub. I used to insert a chart in document that I created fro scratch by my LO & saved it as .docx file. The chart type is: - column - Bar shape - 3D enabled (simple) I used to enable "data label". Then I noticed that the following can not saved what ever I tried to activate ! They disappeared just when I close the document so that when I re-open the .docx file they all will be loset: 1) "Show value as percentage" (under tab of "Data Label" - see screenshot 1) 2) change the "Text direction" (under tab of "Data Label" - see screenshot 1) 3) "Font colour", "Outline", "Shadow" (under tab of "Font Effects" - see screenshot 2) Also, I discovered that "Rotate text" function (under tab of "Data Label" - see screenshot 2) malfunctioning so that so that I can not rotate the text UNLESS ONE TIME after which I can not change rotation angle on 2nd or 3rd occasion, & rest button in the same window not useful to rest value. The only way to revert is to use "rest data label" option of right click menu !

(In reply to yousifjkadom from comment #0) Thank you for reporting the bug. > I used to insert a chart in document that I created fro scratch by my LO & > saved it as .docx file. Could you please add that document (or a similar sample document) as odt-file? => NEEDINFO > I used to enable "data label". You can have a look at meta bug 75057 => NEEDINFO > Also, I discovered that "Rotate text" function (under tab of "Data Label" - > see screenshot 2) malfunctioning so that so that I can not rotate the text > UNLESS ONE TIME after which I can not change rotation angle on 2nd or 3rd > occasion, & rest button in the same window not useful to rest value. The > only way to revert is to use "rest data label" option of right click menu ! This looks like a different bug. One bug per issue is one basic rule in bugzilla. So please open a separate report for that issue.
Hi. Sorry for delay. I tested all those 3 problems with .odt format. No any of them existing !!! They are all being limited to .docx format !! I created 3D chart on .odt file & attached it here. Now what about 3rd issue: is still need to open new issue about it as you asked ?

I confirm, that percenage is missing in Version: 7.1.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL I can't confirm a change in text direction I'm not sure about Font colour, outline and shadow (for example I couldn't see, that shadow is enabled in odt-file, but I'm not an expert in 3D-Charts. So let's reduce this bug to the percentage-problem. If possible, retest with LO 7.1.0.3 and open a separate bug, if the problems still remain.
Additional information Percentage gets also lost, when opening docx-file with MSWord 2016 => Bug occurs, if file is saved as docx.
Dear yousifjkadom, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Still repro. No labels at all were saved before 4.4, so let's call it an implementation error.
