Description donotspam 2021-01-11 17:02:47 UTC
Description:
Extra "bolding" appears to be added to Nimbus Roman No9 L.

The appearance in LO Writer does not match either font viewer's rendering, the preview on font websites, or Abiword's (screenshot of the latter vs LO Writer attached)

I would be grateful if this could be fixed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the Nimbus Roman No9 L family from https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/nimbus-roman-no9-l
2. $ fc-cache -fv
3. Use LO Writer and set the font to Bold

Actual Results:
Extra bolding is applied by LO Writer - see screenshot

Expected Results:
Weight matches appearance in font viewer and Abiword

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
