Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create new page styles in a document (Doc 1). Save and close. 2.Create new document (Doc 2) 3.In Doc 2 Navigator, Styles View, select "Load Styles, Overwrite, From File," then select Doc 1 (source of styles for Doc 2). When I do that -- in LO 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ -- then the custom Page Style from Doc 1 is imported from Doc 2. See tip at bottom of: https://help.libreoffice.org/7.2/en-US/text/swriter/01/05170000.html
