@Andreas Any opinion on this?
Never geht an bug report about it, so I go with NAB. However there is a shortcut for New File.
(In reply to andreas_k from comment #2) > Never geht an bug report about it, so I go with NAB. However there is a > shortcut for New File. There is a shortcut for save to .. And undo/redo and print. So not following that logic :P And for some reason I tend to use the new document button (instead of CTRL+N). Whereas CTRL+Z/CTRL+Y are keyboard only (only looking through history it makes sense). With CTRL+P not always clear what I get. I personally like a new document button.. obviously only 'a single' person in the universe.. And lucky you, I'm traditionalist.. so preferring the toolbar.. anyhow adding Heiko.. so he's up to speed.
dear telesto, if you want to discuss please add Keywords: needsUXEval CC list: libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org thanks
Agree with the NAB. Sitting right on the NB Tabbed UI's 'File' tab is a nice big *'New'* button control. It belongs there on the 'File' tab, not on any other tab. And where not disabled, the <Ctrl>+N shortcut will open a new document in the active LO module.
