Dear karl-heinz.behr@nway.de, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
Reproducible on current stable and master builds. Not reproducible on v.3.3, therefore it is a regression. I could reproduce on 5.4.0.0.alpha (displays very faint lines if you zoom in), but strangely enough, not on 6.3.0.0.alpha or 6.4.0.0.alpha. Created attachment 189645 [details] Skia enabled vs disabled Bibisected with win64-7.0. Dev who made the commit looks to be inactive. Interestingly, seems to be Skia related. There looks to be a difference in quality when Skia is enabled vs. disabled (via Tools > Options > View > Use Skia for all rendering) commit 2b4f2cdd3deb9b131ea19c91ae50e2c34f35754c [log] author Luboš Luňák <l.lunak@collabora.com> Wed Feb 26 14:57:08 2020 +0100 committer Luboš Luňák <l.lunak@collabora.com> Fri Feb 28 09:49:20 2020 +0100 tree 127d96d246a0e6acbecc841d395ca5ea1946919f parent 81d982f176751a6d5f13fcb72f425a29fd077c92 [diff] 40f10b7c9cb9a6807758423f1c03ff78609c2363 is the first bad commit commit 40f10b7c9cb9a6807758423f1c03ff78609c2363 Author: Norbert Thiebaud <nthiebaud@gmail.com> Date: Fri Feb 28 02:13:17 2020 -0800 source 2b4f2cdd3deb9b131ea19c91ae50e2c34f35754c Version: 7.6.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f5defcebd022c5bc36bbb79be232cb6926d8f674 CPU threads: 6; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22621; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
