Description lillis_mark 2021-01-22 22:21:11 UTC
Description:
I can have a box that is cut & paste onto several pages in Draw, like a footer-style text box at the bottom of each of a 33 page slide package. An attempt to replace "XYZ Rev C" to "XYZ Rev D" does not result in 100% changes. Only about 75% of the items changed even though the are just

Steps to Reproduce:
1.cut and paste a text box over many pages (mine has more than 30 pages, I ran a test on a 5 page blank doc with just the single text box on each page and it was not able to find the sub-phrase in any of the text boxes (so 0 for 5)) Text is "Wiring Rev C"
2. use the find/replace from the menu to change that to "Wiring Rev D"
3. There were fields in the text box for page x of y, and date printed field

Actual Results:
Search key not found. No text changed.

Expected Results:
Expected the text to be found and replaced

Reproducible: Always

I followed the steps but the find&replace worked correctly by changing all instances into "Wiring Rev D".

I tried with both the below versions but the results were the same:
