Description: I am a LibreOffice tester. Now, when I am testing LO Writer 7.1 RC2 in Spanish, I find several options, under the View Menu, in English, without translating into Spanish. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LO Writer 7.1 RC2 in Spanish. 2. Explore the View menu. 3. Find the following options: User Interface, Show Tracked Changes, Field Hidden Paragraphs. Actual Results: Those options appear in English instead of being displayed in Spanish as they should be. Expected Results: Show all those options in Spanish with the most accurate translation. For example: Weblate should put "Interfaz de Usuario" instead of "User Interface"; put "Seguimiento de cambios", as it currently appears in Version 7.0.4 in Spanish, instead of "Show Tracked Changes"; and, "Texto de Párrafos Ocultos" or "Campos de Párrafos Ocultos" instead of "Field Hidden Paragraphs". Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: es Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no
Created attachment 169102 [details] This image shows the instances where the error is reproduced. In the screenshot that I am attaching today, January 23, 2021, we can see several options without their corresponding translation in the View Menu - LO Writer 7.1 RC2 - Spanish Version.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today + Spanish language UI, I could reproduce this. I translated them with: ~Interfaz de usuario... https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/es/?checksum=d22554605460bbb0&q=+note%3ABWJqP+&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition Mostrar los ~cambios en seguimiento https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/es/?checksum=76404f120061eb94&q=+note%3AEt46z&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition Campo párrafos ~ocultos https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/es/?checksum=4243f63ef4b9c61f&q=+note%3A2Anu9&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition Albert/Adolfo: don't hesitate if I'm wrong on a translation, I'm not Spanish. Meanwhile, let's put this one to FIXED.
Created attachment 169126 [details] Translation for "Show Tracked Changes" in LO Writer 7.0.4 - Spanish version, in the View Menu.
Replica for Julien Nabet. Thank you, Julien, for your interest in solving this. I consider that the translation suggested by you for "Show Tracked Changes" would be very strictly literal. However, in LO Writer 7.0.4, the translation for that same option is set as follows: "Seguimiento de cambios" which is very adequate, as we can see in the screenshot I'm attaching today. So, I'm in favor of the translation that appears in LO Writer version 7.0.4 ("Seguimiento de cambios"), considering that the word "Show" ("Mostrar") at the beginning is somewhat redundant, knowing that we're under the View Menu ("Ver"). In conclusion, I think you should set "Seguimiento de cambios", or, if you prefer "Mostrar seguimiento de cambios".
I prefer reopening this one and let Adolfo decide.
Thank you, Julien. Adolfo: Para "Show Tracked Changes", propongo mantener la traducción que había sido adoptada en LibreOffice 7.0.4, versión en español, la cual podemos ver en la captura de pantalla que estoy adjuntando hoy Enero-25-2021, con el fin de evitar estar cambiando las traducciones de una versión a otra y mantener al mismo tiempo la unidad de criterios. Considero que esa traducción era acertada.
Created attachment 169138 [details] Currently existing translation for "Show Tracked Changes", established in LO Writer 7.0.4 in Spanish.
Created attachment 169462 [details] Discrepancy in translations of the same string in different versions of LibreOffice. Adolfo: Now when LO 7.1 has been released, a new problem arrives for this bug. I see a disagreement, discrepancy or conflict between the translation that had been established for the chain "Show Tracked Changes" in LO 7.0.4, in Spanish, and the translation that you decided, for that same chain, in LO 7.1 in Spanish. In the screenshots that I am attaching today February-4-2021, we can see those discrepancies. With my eyes as a common user (of the Spanish versions) I keep thinking and insisting that the translation that had been fixed in LO 7.0.4. in Spanish, whose screenshot I attached in comments 3 and 7, should be preserved. So, for LO 7.1 a new translation was not needed for that string ("Show Tracked Changes") but rather to return to the translation that existed in previous versions because that translation was correctly adequate. I confess that even today I still Without understanding why, when a new version of LibreOffice comes to light, Weblate so repeatedly ignores the translations that had previously been fixed for certain strings, menus, submenus, icons, etc. Pardon my ignorance but I don't understand that.
It’s not that Weblate drops the translations, it’s that they changed the source strings, and in this case they did add a verb in front for consistency. I preferred the earlier version too, but in any case your screenshots help me speed this up and see where the accelerators should be, so thank you! And merci as always Julien for your help!
(In reply to Adolfo Jayme from comment #9) > ... > And merci as always Julien for your help! De nada ! :-)

I am testing LO Wrtiter 7.1.1 RC1, in Spanish, and, however, I can see that the correction of the translation corresponding to "Show Tracked Changes" to fix it the same as it appears in LO 7.0.4 ("Mostrar Seguimiento de Cambios"), in Spanish, was not reflected in this RC1 of LO 7.1.1.
I'll let Adolfo respond because for me the translation on Weblate has been done.
I’ve made the change now =)
