Still not sure what M label is trying to express. 2. T label is closer, but does not indicate that "While Typing" has to be activated. 3. Possibly in combination with tooltips. Don't think we find the philosophers' stone here. The column width has space for one character or icon and it's hard to imagine that any of this makes the procedure clear. What we can and should do is to add a tooltip - and an extended tooltip. What could be the text?

Topic was on the agenda for the design meeting but didn't receive further input. Short labels make sense but having better tooltips would be good. Guess [M] means to finish editing with a white-space or return. But not sure => needsDevAdvice
