Description: I keep my financial budget in Calc spreadsheet. Everytime I open the same file, I need to expand the columns so that everything on the spreadsheet is visible correctly. This setting is not saved when I save the file. It is very annoying to do this every time you open the spreadsheet file. Actual Results: Happens every time when you open your spreadsheet file that the columns are too narrow. Expected Results: It should remember the sizes of columns and rows within each spreadsheet file Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.0.3.1 (x64) Build ID: d7547858d014d4cf69878db179d326fc3483e082 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fi-FI (en_FI); UI: en-US Calc: CL
I cannot confirm the behavior. For me the spreadsheet opens with the same column width/row height as it was saved. I use Version: 7.0.0.2 (x64) Build ID: c01aa64b6c3d89ebe5fe69c28c7adb24eb85249c CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL Please add the version, which you use (copy info from menu Help > About) and attach a small example file, which shows the error.
I downloaded the latest release and the issue with columns widths persists. I started to think that maybe the cause is that I open the file in question from my Dropbox- folder as it is a file I need to access away from home? Version installed now: Version: 7.0.4.2 (x64) Build ID: dcf040e67528d9187c66b2379df5ea4407429775 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fi-FI (en_FI); UI: en-US Calc: CL
I moved the copy of the file from Dropbox- folder to my Desktop and opened the file, made the adjustments manually to column widths, saved the file and closed the file. Tried reopening the file from the Desktop and the column widths had once again reset.
