I'm new to LibreOffice. And to this bug reporting system. I created a table with 'Elegant' style. Tried to figure out how to adjust the header vertical alignment so it was centred instead of 'top'. Tried clicking here, there, everywhere. Couldn't figure it out. Then the Writer crashed. Hope that helps!
Thank you for your report, Pendantry. However, it is very hard to know how to make the crash happen without more precise steps. Has this happened more than once? Could you list a series of steps that consistently make Writer crash?
Hi, stragu, pleased to meet you! Sorry, I can't provide any more concrete information. I'm currently unable to reproduce the fault -- and I've just downloaded and am installing LibreOffice 7.1.0.3, so Things Have Changed.
If there are no reproducible steps, this can only be closed.
If you experience crash again, you should at least write what you were doing last, if you cannot write all steps. And please link to crash report, which indicates if reported earlier. With that, you may set this bug as Unconfirmed again.

Well, the last thing I recall doing before it crashed is trying to select the entire table with the mouse. The table was 2x2: I left-clicked in the lower right cell and tried to move the mouse cursor to the upper left cell; that's when it crashed. As for your request to 'link to crash report', I did note that I should do that in the instructions given when the crash occurred... however, I do not see any way to do that. The best I could do was to enter the 'Crash signature'. Perhaps better guidance is required for newcomers like me?
