I can NOT reproduce this on my Windows computer.

Version: 7.1.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Maybe is a setting in your explorer/Windows.

I don't think is a LO bug.

Hi Baffclan,

I followed the steps and confirmed in:

Version: 7.1.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 1; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

The two icons looked identical.

I found a similar bug#120322.
Daniel, Buovjaga, What do you think?

It is similar, except you created the file in Windows file explorer. Do you get the same result, if you create it from LibreOffice? I can create an rtf file both ways and the icon is correct. It doesn't seem to be a LibreOffice problem, but it would be nice to find out how to fix it.

Thanks for reply!

Yes, the rich text file saved by LibreOffice was a Calc icon.
Comment 7 Buovjaga 2021-04-19 07:01:26 UTC
Yeah let's close as dupe.

You can manually correct it with right-click, Open with, pick the correct LibreOffice app, tick "Always use selected application to open these files"

I agree with the duplication.
However the rtf icon should be Writer. It's incorrect to make it a Calc icon.
bug#120322 needs to be reopen.

No, you see the RTF icon being Calc is your problem. You will solve it by what I said in comment 7. It is not a LibreOffice bug.
