Description user234683 2021-02-12 00:22:14 UTC
Description:
If the image is pasted in just the right position, such that it overlaps with the equation, the equation will disappear. Closer inspection reveals that there is an equation object below the page boundary, but it cannot be moved.

Saving the document when the equation is in this state will save it correctly. The equation will be where it was originally when the document is reopened.

Though the equation object cannot be moved, it can be cut and pasted and put back.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the attached document and the attached image
2. Open the attached image in GIMP
3. Under Edit, select "Copy Visible" in order to copy the image data.
4. Open the document
5. Move the cursor to the position right after the colon at the end of the last sentence.
6. Use CTRL+V to paste the image
7. Use CTRL+Z to undo the image paste

Actual Results:
The bottom-most two equations appear to be missing, even after using CTRL+Z

Expected Results:
The equations should have been moved to a new page correctly, and the CTRL+Z should have resulted in the equations being back to where they were.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Tested on version 6.1.5.2 in Debian. Also tested on the latest version (7.1.0.3) in Windows 7.

I can't confirm it with

Version: 7.1.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL

Result after Step 6: Whole document is on one page, but pasted image overlaps text border. If you drag image up, text and equitation above move to second page (as expected)

Result after step 7: As expected

A new major release of LibreOffice is available since this bug was reported. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
