The moderator on the forum of "Language Tool" does not "complain" about this issue, but tells the fact, that the extension requires access to the cloud service of languagetool.org (!!!) which is not supported by / not implemented into the current version of "Language Tool" _for_ LibreOffice. In other words: Language Tool developers (languagetool.org) did not implement the functionality into their own extension for LibreOffice. See also https://languagetool.org/?force_language=true#plugins which states (emphasis oon the *-footnote): > OpenOffice & LibreOffice Add-on* > Get for OpenOffice,Get for LibreOffice > * Requires Java 8. Currently not available for the Premium version. Problems installing it? From my perspective an invalid request.
(In reply to Uwe Auer from comment #1) > From my perspective an invalid request. Agreed. Ref.: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/293375/ Anyway, thanks for filing; hope it's clear now. Don't hesitate to file your suggestions, this closure is not intended to discourage you. I suppose that a closure with clarification is also a positive result.
