According to a note in https://help.libreoffice.org/7.2/en-US/text/swriter/02/02110000.html "Some of the bullets and numbering options are not available when working in the Web Layout." Question: Is this statement still true or should it be removed from the help page? follow-up question: If still true, can the specific options be identified (and added to the help page).
I couldn't find any option, that is not available and I also couldn't find a report in meta bug 103302. So who should be decide, if the note is still valid?
Hello sdc.blanco@youmail.dk, Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Same result with: Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 6e4238018bf0408f2961e5708212e09a8c3597dc
Okay
Also don't find a difference. And no idea why something should not be available in web mode.
Created attachment 171877 [details] sample for export to html The graphic bullets (svg file) are not rendered in Firefox. Brave shows a very small icon.
I think this help page is misleading, because it says that some bullets are not visible in "Web Layout", which the linked page says is enabled in the menu View > Web. However, if I use the Web Layout I can't create any situation where the bullets or numbers aren't displayed. The problem arises when I export the document to HTML. Then I get a similar behavior as reported by Olivier. Bullets get exported, but may not be rendered in all browsers. > The graphic bullets (svg file) are not rendered in Firefox. Brave shows a > very small icon. Using Olivier's file, I also get small icons in Chromium when I save the document as HTML. In Firefox the icon does not appear, but other icons available in "Bullets and Numbering > Image" do work.
