Description:
Deleting a column in very large table slow 3x slower compared to 5.0 branch

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Insert -Table -> Type 5000 rows (2 columns)
3. After layouting finished (113 pages for older versions) delete a column


Actual Results:
4 seconds with 5.0.6.3 
12 seconds with 5.1 and up

Expected Results:
4 seconds


Reproducible: Always

Creating the table is around 6 seconds, so I agree that 12 seconds for deleting a column is abit too long (I can't compare with 5.0)

Yes, I would say close this.

Following comment 0, and deleting the column, it only took me:

- ~3 seconds
