Description: I was able to enter data into a cell that was previously made "Protected". But when I attempted to remove the data entered a message appears that states: Read-only content Write-protected content can not be saved No modifications can be made After some research it appearshis problem may only be on tables that span across pages For research, I made a few one page tables, I was unable to enter any text before the same message appeared. Next, I made a multi-page table and highlighted all of the cell and write protected the entire table. The same situation occurred, I was able to enter data but not remove the data just entered. And finally, I made yet another nulti-page document and protected the cells individually, and once again I was allowed to enter data but unable to remove it. The documents were saved, the document closed, and Writer was closed and reopened later, after a few minutes. In all of the cases, I was the author of the documemt Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a table in Writer that spans pages 2. Populate table. 3. Highlight and choose"Protect Cell" 4, Save and Close document. 5. Close LO 6. Reopen LO, and edit table, without turning "Protect Cell" off. 7. Try to remove entered data, The "This cell is read only" then appears, not permitting the removal of the edited data. Actual Results: I was allowed to enter data into what was supposed to be a "Read Only" cell. Expected Results: The warning message regarding "Read Only" should have appeared when the cell was selected. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: I experimented with both multiple and single page tables and achieved the same results. I don't know what changed as I too am no longer able to enter data into a protected cell. My only theory is that this was a P.I.C.N.I.C situation.
