Description: Cf. https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/41105/libreoffice-already-running-how-to-see-preview-of-recent-documents-like-startup-screen/ There's no way to get to the preview of "recent documents" without having them all closed. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start LibreOffice: you get the preview of "recent documents" 2. Then open an existing document or create one 3. Try to open a previously edited document. Actual Results: The recent document list is only available as a dropdown submenu of simple filenames Expected Results: The recent document list dropdown submenu should at least be poopulated with application icons to better differentiate each documents. An extra entry should lead to open a new preview of "recent documents" window to let the user select visually. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.1.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fe0b08f4af1bacafe4c7ecc87ce55bb426164676 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: CL
Heiko, I already saw this suggestion about application icons for recent file list, may be you remember the bug number? About >An extra entry should lead to open a new preview of "recent documents" window to let the user select visually. I don't think it's a good idea
Access to the start center's recent documents view is requested in bug 77590 => DUP. But the list is the same as in File > Recent Documents. (In reply to Roman Kuznetsov from comment #1) > Heiko, I already saw this suggestion about application icons for recent file > list, may be you remember the bug number? You mean bug 94169? Otherwise check META bug 61174. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 77590 ***
