no problem here Version: 7.1.1.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fe0b08f4af1bacafe4c7ecc87ce55bb426164676 CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: GL; VCL: osx Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded try reset an user profile using Help>Restart in Safe Mode dialog (look at bottom part of the dialog then)
What macOS version do you use?
macOS 11.3 Beta (20E5196f) Safe Mode eliminates the problem. But, starting back up in normal mode brings the problem right back. Note that the document the exhibits this problem is a .docx document, and almost every element has a "highlight" color applied. Also note that LibreOffice warns me that the document is being opened "read-only", after which I click "Edit Document". What can I do to narrow down the offending component/extension?
I've added two more attachments. The first is a screen recording starting immediately after opening a blinded .docx document. The instant I move my cursor, the rendered text vanishes. The second is the actual blinded document that exhibits this behavior.
