If you want to open a file you can get a long list of the last open files. But often, if you use a lot of different files you will hardly find the file you want. There is no live search and no autocomplete. That could make opening a file a lot faster and easier.

Isn't a Base bug (Database of LO). Have set the component to LibreOffice

This request has been rejected before. See bug 143593 comment 2.

With version 7.5, the request in bug 80934 was implemented, so you can at least filter the recent document list seen in the Start Center by the document type.
