Created attachment 170475 [details] From page 1 only the left 20cm are printed This error is new, it worked fine until the last Update. I have a Text in Landcape DIN A4, if I Print it an a HP OfficejetPro 8600 Only the leftmost 20cm are printed, so the area which also would fit on a Portrait page. But the Orientation is OK, So the right 10cm stay blank. The Print Preview is OK too. I also can export it to PDF and print it using Acrobat Reader. So it must be a problem in the printing routines. I add the File
No repro 7.0.0.Repro 7.1 and 7.2+ with PDF printer. Can be see in File-Print preview window (not Print Preview). I set New abd bibisectRequest
Bibisected this to the following commit using repo bibisect-win64-7.1 (while not mentioned in the report apart from the OS field, the bug seems to be Win-only). Adding CC: to Samuel Mehrbrodt. https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3cfc390ecd7c7e9095c77383c460c522437bdabe author Samuel Mehrbrodt <Samuel.Mehrbrodt@cib.de> 2020-07-09 08:32:38 +0200 committer Samuel Mehrbrodt <Samuel.Mehrbrodt@cib.de> 2020-07-13 07:38:22 +0200 tdf#134646 Remove "nearest paper matching" feature
I can't reproduce that. Can you attach a screenshot how your print preview looks like?
Created attachment 171213 [details] Preview in Print dialog Sure, I was looking at the preview in the Print dialog, which looks as in the attached screenshot, taken from a fresh daily build.

Thanks. Maybe it needs some follow up fix, that the printer default paper is chosen when no matching paper can be found. @Dimitri: Btw, you can probably work around this issue by correctly setting the page size to A4 in Writer Page properties.
This is not Writer only, Impress sample is attachment 165651 [details] from bug 136873. Orientation Automatic is wrong and change to Portrait or Landscape doesn't help.

Created attachment 171524 [details] from sxw converted File with new changes I loaded an old sxw file, made same changes and saved it as odt. When I try to print it only the left 20cm are printed
For some time I had no Problem, but yesterday it happend again. So I started thinking what was different. It was originaly an old sxw File from 2003. So maybe the real Problem starts with the sxm import. It contains a Cover for a DVD which I changed a little bit and than printed it. New ones with the same Layout work fine. The same error ocures when I print it with pdfcreator. I'll add the sxw, odt and pdf as Attachments
Created attachment 171525 [details] Here the pdf This pdf was created using pdfcreator printing the odt-file
Created attachment 171526 [details] The sxw file And finaly the original sxw File
It would be worth testing this in master again - some changes have been made in impress at least.
Repro 7.4+ for ODT attachment 170475 [details] and attachment 171526 [details]. This remains Writer bug, as Impress sample attachment 165651 [details] from bug 136873 is better, Print doesn't cut now, on the contrary it leaves space.
Dear Dimitri Junker, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.
