Description Peter Franke 2021-03-22 10:03:11 UTC
Description:
NVDA does not announce the entries in the "Labels" dialogue box. It is possible to navigate from input field to input field using the "Tab" key, but you do not get any acoustic feedback about which values are preset there and about changes to the values (whether you type them in manually or modify them using the "rotary switch").

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Go to "File", "New", "Labels"
3. In the following dialogue box, click on the "Format" tab
4. Use the "Tab" key to move through the input fields

Actual Results:
NVDA does not announce the entries in the "Labels" dialogue box. It is possible to navigate from input field to input field using the "Tab" key, but you do not get any acoustic feedback about which values are preset there and about changes to the values (whether you type them in manually or modify them using the "rotary switch").

Expected Results:
NVDA should announce the values as well as changes made to them (regardless of whether they are made by adjusting them using the rotary switch or keyboard input).

Reproducible: Always

I can confirm this bug
Comment 2 Michael Weghorn 2022-08-30 07:34:05 UTC
@Peter: Is this the same problem as described in bug 141583 (and potentially fixed in the context of bug 140594)?
Is it still reproducible in current LO versions?
