Looking in the document, some texts are truncated. To be verified if this happens due to the replacement font size or there's other reason.
Repro in Windows so All. Not sure if this is DOC or font specific or related to bug 126936.
Hello msdobrescu@gmail.com, Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
I have tried in 7.1.1.2 AppImage, it behaves exactly the same as before.
(In reply to Harshita Nag from comment #6) 7.1.0.3 is not very old and you cannot ask to test with newer version. Even if it is, bug should be tested first and not just user asked to test with newer version, unless steps are not easy. Here they are. So you wrongly set Needinfo, please do not. It's done only if you cannot reproduce with reported version. To avoid this, I set New. But still this may be a duplicate.
gtimur@gmail.com, I am extremely sorry about the mistake that happened today from my side. Will be more careful next time.
Dear msdobrescu@gmail.com, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
Hello, Tried on the AppImage distributions: Version: 7.5.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (C.UTF8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Version: 7.4.6.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 5b1f5509c2decdade7fda905e3e1429a67acd63d CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: en-US (C.UTF8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded The bug is still present on both.
If you go to File - Properties - Font, you can see nothing is checked on Font embedding. So, if the font is not on someone system, the font is replaced with a substitute font. Retested with Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: a34dcd03254480927c403d904c0e754802d97b90 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
