You didn't provide enough information to help diagnosing your problem, such as:

1. Where did you get the libobasis7.1-sdk DEB package? From Debian archive, or downloaded from TDF/LibreOffice website?

2. How did you install the package? If from command line, what exact command did you use?

3. Did you have the desktop application installed (package name: libreoffice)? If yes, does the application run successfully and does the desktop application package have the same version 7.1.1.2-2 as the SDK you were trying to install?

Downloaded this morning from libreoffice website.

sudo dpkg -i ...

Yes, I deinstalled it and reinstalled it again. The base component installs and is working, the SDK does not install, as well as the local help files.

So when you install the SDK from command line (presumably with command "sudo dpkg -i libobasis7.1-sdk.deb"), what is the output? You said "nothing happens for hours", but at least it should print a few lines like "Unpacking libobasis7.1-sdk...". So please paste the output on the terminal and we can see where exactly is the installation process stuck.

Could you please try to reproduce it with version 7.1.3.2 of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
