Description:
Hi,
Using the latest and greatest LibreOffice here 7.0.4.2 for Windows...
Finding it very annoying when my document window actually shows a page fully
(maybe some narrow strip of a previous page up top, and maybe a very little of the next one down bottom), but when I use PgUp and PgDn buttons, the next page would not show in place of the page last shown, but will be somewhat moved up, I figure, subject to how much of that page was shown previously at the bottom, the next PgDn, and the next one, will be cut off from the top even further, etc, etc to the point that the pages are obviously cut in half, with the page break right in the middle of the window...
Going with PgUp is the same story, reversed...
So suggested is to position next / previous page so that if the page was entirely shown in the window, the next page is also appears fully, right in place of the previous one.
Thanks for considering this

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just navigate any document in a full-screen window, for example, or a window that is big enough to have a page shown entirely...

Actual Results:
Pages are cut off more and more...

Expected Results:
Fully shown pages should pop-up in place of one another when the PgUp / PgDn buttons are used to navigate the document.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

In LO PgDn/PgUp alone are considered "scrolling" movements, moving the view port in Writer some amount depending on zoom factor of the view, but not indexed at full page increments.

At the 7.1 release LO now provides <Alt>+<PgDn>/<Alt>+<PgUp> full page movements. Not present in a 7.0 build.

Update to current 7.1.2 release [1]

Hmmm... You can "consider" PgUp and PgDn as "scrolling" but the users don't! Making Alt-PgUp and Alt-PgDn working as PgUp and PgDn should have been working is completely anti-intuitive! The very names of the keys are exactly "Page Up" and "Page Down", and that's what is expected of them to do. If you want "scrolling" that much with these keys, then the Alt- versions should have been assigned so, not the bare keys alone.

Sorry, but that is what you get to work with.

Also, think about the effect of PgDn/PgUp when used in Calc, or Draw, or Impress.

We opted for consistency, cross module.

The <Alt>+<PgDn>/<Alt>+<PgUp> (with <Shift> mods for selection) are appropriate.
