Tried this operation in 7.1.1.2, and the error does not happen under Windows 10 build 1904 . Click on "check for updates", and LO checks the versions released, and since it is still 7.1, it thinks all is fine.

So, there is a 'new' version of LO Development , version 7.1.2.2 (march 25, 2021).

Will load this up and see if it breaks under View>UI.

Could you please try to reproduce it with version 7.1.3.2 of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Tested with 7.1.3.2 and bug is no longer present. Thanks.
