Description juergenkohler23 2021-04-09 08:41:50 UTC
Description:
When you want to adjust the margins of a document, you don't get any audible feedback from NVDA. The specified shortcuts (Alt+L) do not work either.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Format -> Page Template -> Page

Actual Results:
The screen reader (NVDA) does not read out the preset values in the fields and the rotary switch is not operable even with screen reader. The specified key combinations do not work either.

Expected Results:
The screen reader (NVDA) should read out the preset values in the fields and the rotary switch should be operable. The specified key combinations should work.

Reproducible: Always

There seems to be a fundamental problem with the accessibility of these "rotary switches". In other menus, too, they cannot be operated with the specified key combination and the set values are not output acoustically.

@Jürgen:
Is this still a problem with current LO versions?

If I understand correctly, that sounds like the problem that has been fixed in tdf#140594.
