Hi there,
I have just raised bug 161446 relating to corrupted writer files on SAMBA systems that have SMB2 leasing disabled. I originally experienced the issue when saving to Shares on my Synology NAS!

You may wish to try enabling SMB leases on your Synology to see if it solves the problem.

This is done via Control Panel > File Services > SMB/AFP/NFS Tab > Advanced settings then tick 'enable SMB2 Lease'

I hope this works for you.

Roman, as Darren confirmed that bug 161446 is resolved in version 24.2, it would be much appreciated if you could test again in the latest version and see if your issue is still relevant.
Thank you!
