Description: Select some text (doesn't have to be long, in my case it's usually PO numbers like J40279-2 / PB10258) in Microsoft Word. Now try to Ctrl-V that into Calc. Nothing happens. If I paste the same text into Notepad++ first and the from Notepad++ into Calc, it inserts the text. Why is Calc so shite at pasting stuff from other programs? This is very reminiscent of Bug 113719 (which is still broken 4 years on). Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Paste the stuff on the clipboard Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.1.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fe0b08f4af1bacafe4c7ecc87ce55bb426164676 CPU threads: 6; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: gd-GB (gd_GB); UI: gd-GB Calc: CL
For me with 7.1.3 [Ctrl+V] pastes it as image. [F2]+[Ctrl+V] pastes it with the original text format Pasting in the 'input line' pastes it as text without format.
@Michael Bauer: pls. try a fresh version, plenty copy/paste issues have been solved with a patch for ver. 7.1.2 and 7.2 on 2021-03-09, see https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136175#c10, good luck :-) assuming duplicate, don't hesitate to reopen if persistent ... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 136175 ***
