Hi @Serge Mimouni,
Could you please record a screencast showing this problem? And compare the speeds between 7.0.4 and 7.1.2.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

Does this option affect the slowness (you need to restart LibreOffice when changing it): Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use Skia for all rendering

The latest version of Calc (7.2.1.2) is so slow that it is now unusable. It is installed on a Windows 10 AMD 64 bit with 16GB of main memory. It takes several seconds for a single typed character to show up in a cell. The spreadsheet has no significant calculations, in relatively small (5 columns, about 200 rows). In an alternative spreadsheet program I have (not Microsoft) there is no slowness at all. Clearly a bug of some kind.
