Description: Save as dialog touches every file in a selected directory in a way that causes Dropbox Smartsync to download every file otherwise marked "online only" and causes a wait condition before the save as dialog will continue. Can the save as dialog code be changed not to stat every file in the directory? Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a Dropbox folder with Smart Sync "online only" set for files (large ones preferred) 2.Open any Libreoffice document and with "Save As..." select the folder with all the online only files 3.Watch the Save As dialog keep focus and spin until every file is downloaded Actual Results: Since the Save as dialog keeps focus, the computer becomes largely unusable until the sync action finishes and the save process can continue Expected Results: LibreOffice should not touch the metadata or contents of files in a directory with which it is not presently interacting, thus not causing a sync action and the save as dialog box would operate smoothly. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.2.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 8a45595d069ef5570103caea1b71cc9d82b2aae4 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
No issues here I marked an existing folder online only, and verified the files got the cloud download icon I then saved an odt file. That file is online, and I had no trouble. The other files still have the cloud download icon Can you restest with 7.5? What is your Dropbox version? Mine is 171.3.6071 (a version that use the same APIs as iCloud AFAIK) Version: 7.5.1.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 10; OS: Mac OS X 13.2.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
