Does anyone have problems with LibreOffice Writer on Windows 10? Version 7.1.3 is crashing, in particular with the insertion of high resolution pictures in texts over 500 pages long! So I migrated to version 3.6.4, much older, because it has the option of setting a limit on the use of Hardware Memory by Writer when inserting heavy figures in texts -- this option, even fundamental for limited hardware, is known there why, it was permanently withdrawn by the developers. However, this version's Draw is not compatible with the figures that I created complexly in the latest version, and it is not possible to edit them. I went back to version 7.1.3 of LibreOffice and now Writer is closing by itself, no error message, just offering a restore option! In the Windows 10 Task Manager, several Writer-related processes appear that did not terminate with the abrupt shutdown of the program. Paradox by which I would like to know if there is an official way to install only LibreOffice 3.6.4 WRITER separately and only LibreOffice 7.1.3 DRAW separately. I fear downloading from unknown sources and coming with viruses. So here is also my suggestion. Thanks.
