Description brian.isett@gmail.com 2021-05-04 17:00:01 UTC
Description:
Putting .tif images into a presentation results in black squares showing up. Turning hardware acceleration off & restarting does nothing. Harware accel on also doesn't help. Opening the same file up in Powerpoint on different computer -- images appear correctly. OpenGl isn't even in my options but searching expert config shows UseOpenGL is set to false.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a new presentation.
2. Drag a .tif file into it.
3. Admire the depths of the black square opened on your screen.

Actual Results:
.tif results in black square.

Expected Results:
Display .tif image in presentation.

Reproducible: Always

Rule of thumb is search before reporting, which you likely didn't do.
So please attach sample, search for TIFF and see if duplicate, there are bugs related to Tiff type or Linux Bug 113814.
