Description Telesto 2021-05-05 14:06:43 UTC
Description:
Memory usage opening 3 page presentation with (large) images gone up from 250 MB to 514 MB

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Impress (and take memory measure)
2. Open attachment 171534 [details] (and take memory usage measure)
3. Close the document (and take memory usage)

Actual Results:
514 MB for 3 sheets with 7.2 (skia Raster)
360 MB for same sheet with 7.0 (2891e91a513520d68ea2b8c59c14335861a15253)
258 MB with 6.2 (b1d1edff4e81a8299e2a17c7e562d144329549ab with OpenGL (so increase) but x32)
100 MB with 6.0 (c30963b8b4bbbe42a24b97aafa161eff9d7ccdd4 with GDI but clearly lacking caching.. so pretty slow. Similar slowness with OpenGL)

Expected Results:
Expense on ram

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

And 245 MB with Skia enabled.

So reference should be 245-258 MB I guess

For me, it is less than 300MB after opening. Can you re-test?
