Simple sample document

LO 7.1.3.2; Linux 5.11; VCL kf5

Display Style Inspector in side pane. Enter some text. Style paragraphs at least with Text Body. Put cursor in a styled paragraph (i.e. NOT Default Paragraph Style).

* Bad vertical scrollbar

Style Inspector displays properties of current styles, i.e. those explicitly set in the style definition to make a difference with the style ancestor. To see the attributes of the ancestor, you expand the ancestor definition (e.g. Default Paragraph Style) clicking on the arrow at left of ancestor name.

This may cause the list of attributes to overflow at bottom of pane, e.g. with Default Paragraph Style. A vertical scrollbar is automatically added to the side pane.

However this scrollbar allows to scroll only a few lines and not the whole style definition.

* Wrong direct formatting report

Attach a numbering style to a paragraph style (e.g. Bullet to List 1). Put the cursor in such a paragraph.

The style inspector report the bullet/numbering as direct formatting, which formally is not the case.

I attach a simple sample document to show the issues.

Tank you for reporting the bug. But there's a basic rule in Bugzilla: One report for each problem.

I can't confirm this.

I confirm it with attachment 171816 [details]: List 1 includes a list style, but a list ID only appears under Character Direct Formatting.

Ajlittoz, let's reduce this report to the second problem. Please open a new bug for scrollbar-problem.

Done: bug 142481

Initially, this was only a user feedback report about the style inspector I thought was "monolithic". As you split it into 2 bugs, it is logical to separate the reports. Thanks for your care.

Still repro. Let's call it an implementation error.
