Description Alex S. 2021-05-10 17:55:17 UTC
I am unable to open older LibreOffice documents using the current Windows version 7.0.5.2. I tried safe mode unsuccessfully and also manually creating a new user profile; I was able to open a file once but that was it. The program subsequently hangs. I also run Linux Mint v. 20 with version 6.4.7.2 installed, and there is no issue with such files, even ones dated c. 2009.

I updated my video drivers, forced the default UI render option, and also tried using 7.1.3.2 to no avail. A screenshot of the "About" screen is attached.

Sample is needed.
Comment 5 Timur 2021-05-12 11:27:54 UTC
To be sure, please test with master (separate to existing install) from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html.
If it works, than it's resolved.
You may take 7.0.6 from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?type=win-x86_64&version=7.0.6
